I can't believe that two years ago I was just gearing up to start graduate school, and now I am finished and officially an art therapist! It is hard to believe how quickly time passes by and how much can happen in the matter of two years. So, the question that has been on my mind for many months, is what will I do when school is finished?
Well it just so turns out I will be moving out of Chicago and I will visit Uganda for five months. I am going with a group called project focus...check out the website at www.projectfocus.com I am going to help set up an art therapy program for AIDS orphans in a rural community in Southwest Uganda. So, I look forward to updating this blog with new and exciting experiences. I am leaving for Uganda at the begining of July...just about a month away. In the mean time, I am getting prepared to go to Uganda, but also to end my time in Chicago.
